Dear Parents and Carers,
At Ysgol Gymraeg Llangennech, the safety of our pupils is always our highest priority. To ensure that all children remain safe on the school premises, we kindly ask for your continued support in following parking and traffic rules.
Children must be supervised at all times while on the school grounds. Please ensure that your child is accompanied by an adult when arriving and leaving the school site.
Only authorised vehicles are permitted to enter or drive on the school premises. This is essential to maintain a safe environment for our pupils, particularly during busy drop-off and pick-up times.
We also remind all families to follow the parking regulations around the school. This includes:
- No parking on double yellow lines
- No stopping on zigzag lines, as these areas must remain clear at all times to protect visibility and pupil safety
- Parking only in designated areas, and never in places that may obstruct pathways, entrances, or safe crossing points
We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe environment for every child. By working together and respecting these guidelines, we can ensure that the school grounds remain secure and that all pupils arrive and leave safely each day.

Yn Ysgol Gymraeg Llangennech, mae diogelwch ein disgyblion wastad yn brif flaenoriaeth. Er mwyn sicrhau bod pob plentyn yn parhau’n ddiogel ar dir yr ysgol, gofynnwn yn garedig am eich cefnogaeth barhaus wrth ddilyn ein rheolau parcio a thraffig.
Rhaid i blant fod o dan oruchwyliaeth ar bob adeg tra’u bod ar safle’r ysgol. Sicrhewch fod eich plentyn yn cael ei hebrwng gan oedolyn wrth gyrraedd ac wrth adael yr ysgol.
Dim ond cerbydau awdurdodedig sy’n cael mynediad i mewn i safle’r ysgol. Mae hyn yn hollbwysig i gynnal amgylchedd diogel i’n disgyblion, yn enwedig yn ystod amseroedd prysur megis gollwng a chasglu.
Hoffem hefyd atgoffa pob teulu i ddilyn y rheoliadau parcio o amgylch yr ysgol. Mae hyn yn cynnwys:
- Dim parcio ar linellau melyn dwbl
- Dim stopio ar y llinellau zigzag
- Parcio yn yr ardaloedd dynodedig yn unig, ac osgoi parcio mewn mannau sy’n rhwystro llwybrau, mynedfeydd, neu llefydd croesi diogel

Eisteddfod yr Urdd
Could you remind the parents that it is possible to buy tickets in advance on the Ticketsource website – the link is below. It will also be possible to pay by card or cash at the door.
Parents of £1 members can claim 2 free tickets on the website – instructions are below.
It will not be possible to buy these tickets after the eisteddfod starts, so it will need to be done BEFORE Saturday morning.

Dear Parent / Carer,Applications are invited for Parent Governor from parents with a child/children registered at the school in order to fill 2 vacancies on the Governing Body from November.In the event of the receipt of more than 2 applications, an election will be conducted during the term involving parents of pupils registered at the school.Application papers, together with the limitation provisions on people’s eligibility to be governors, are available from the headteacher at school. To show an expession of interest and receive a copy of the documents please contact via email gary.anderson@llangennech.ysgolccc.cymru by 10 a.m. on Monday October 20th 2025.The successful Parent Governors will serve for a period of 4 years and will NOT be required to cease to hold office when his/her children leave the school.
